Kingsbridge Heights Community Center provides resources to empower Bronx residents from cradle to career to advance education and well-being for a vibrant community. We achieve this in an environment that fosters academic milestones, literacy, mental health support, nutrition, technology, and the arts. All of our programs use a strengths-based approach that empowers people to lead independent, self-sufficient lives. Within our Youth Services department specifically, we provide a safe, welcoming environment during after school hours where young people can socialize, learn, and grow. Alongside our Teen Center, we collaborate with several schools in our community, such as Bronx Theatre High School.
Our collaboration with Bronx Theatre High School allows for program implementation, both in person and virtually, with support from school leadership. This includes SEL counseling groups, after school activities, school day counseling 1:1’s, college access services, and additional hybrid events and programming. For any additional information, feel free to reach out to KHCC's Bronx Theatre Program Director, Manuella Torres, through email: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone: (718) 884-0700 x 167.
