    Principal's Message

    Parent Update:

Welcome to the 2018-19 School Year

    Dear Bronx Theatre Parents/ Guardians,

We hope you are enjoying your summer!

The first day of school is on September 5, 2018. It is imperative that your child arrive to school at 8:40 for their first period class. We want to ensure that your child graduates from Bronx Theatre High School College and Career Ready, and striving for 90% attendance is the first step in achieving this goal.

On September 5th, your child will be given a Parent Contact Information Form (Blue Card), and a Lunch Form Application. Please fill it out, and send it back to school with your child. It is very important that we receive an up-to-date address, and phone number so we can communicate with you. During the school year if your child is absent, you will receive a text message from your child’s teacher. Please reply to the text message, or call the school at (718) 329-2902 ext. 7222 to talk with Ms. Ackon, our Parent Coordinator.

You will be hearing from our Parent Coordinator, Ms. Meigan Ackon with a calendar of Special School Events, Parent Association Meetings, and School Leadership Team dates. Additionally, you will be receiving a monthly newsletter that will keep you informed on all other Bronx Theatre activities.

We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer, and we look forward to meeting you during the upcoming school year.
